Following our inaugural sellout Airplane! event at Aerospace Bristol in March, we’re delighted to return for a screening of the ’80s cult classic Top Gun underneath Concorde itself. This iconic plane is the last of its kind to be built and the last to fly; it ended its journey in Bristol and is now displayed in a custom-built hangar, and you will have the opportunity to look onboard prior to the film starting. You can also buy drinks and snacks in the shadow of the plane, before taking your seats below its wing to enjoy one of the most enduring ’80s movies and Tom Cruise at his finest.

THEY SAY: “It has not only become a cultural icon but remains infinitely rewatchable.” Adam Smith, Empire, 2006
WE SAY: The film that confirmed Tom Cruise as a superstar, a status which he retains to this day. Slick, bombastic, with expertly shot dogfights and an era-defining soundtrack – and a long-awaited sequel in the works only proves that Top Gun‘s enduring appeal is more than just ’80s nostalgia.
