DOORS: 18:00 | FILM STARTS 18:15

We’re pulling out all the stops for this very special Vintage Screening in honour of World Champagne Day this October, with a screening of the Oscars record-breaking musical sensation Gigi! This charming tale of an unlikely romance blooming against the backdrop of the Belle Époque in Paris features an unforgettable score by the duo behind My Fair Lady, as well as Leslie Caron in one of her signature roles.

Like most Vintage Screenings, it is hosted in the stunning setting of Averys Wine Merchants’ historic wine cellar, where you’ll enjoy a sparkling wine reception. The film itself will be accompanied by a tasting of carefully selected sparkling wines courtesy of Averys’ resident experts, finishing on a classic champagne, naturellement

After the film ends, you’ll enjoy a traditional French beef bourguignon bowl food meal (with vegan option available too) to round off a fantastic evening that will transport you back to a whimsical, wonderful time, and ‘The Night They Invented Champagne’…

Your ticket includes:

  • welcome glass of sparkling wine

  • four sparkling wines (including a champagne) to taste

  • a French themed bowl food meal

  • a screening of Gigi with intro talk and extra trivia

Please note that Vintage Screenings are strictly for over-18s only
