We’re over the moon (pun intended) to be returning to the Planetarium at We The Curious for 2026; we’ve got a stellar series of space and sci-fi screenings lined up! Explore the Planetarium’s Space exhibition before the screening and see if you’re cut out for a life in space, then recline in this unique screening space. As the lights dim, your journey will begin with a tour of the Solar System in a Planetarium star show - the perfect way to set the scene for your film…

Our November 2026 screenings at the Planetarium conclude with a 20th anniversary screening of Alfonso Cuarón’s dystopian thriller Children Of Men. This Oscar-nominated modern masterpiece, set in a society where humanity’s future is threatened by infertility, expertly blends weighty concepts and wry political commentary with gripping and gritty action sequences to create a cautionary tale that is, if anything, even more relevant two decades on from its initial release - small wonder it’s widely considered one of the finest films of the century so far.

About The Film

2006 | 15 | 109 mins

In a world where widespread infertility has meant that nobody has been born in almost 20 years, a dystopian society has sprung up from the last vestiges of humanity. However, when jaded bureaucrat Theo is tasked with a top secret mission to safely transport the world’s only pregnant woman to a place of sanctuary, a glimmer of hope emerges - if Theo can prevent his fellow humans from destroying their last chance at salvation.

Contains strong bloody violence, strong language
