7th May 2025 - An Everyman Epic…
We're returning to Everyman Bristol for our first ‘Epics at Everyman’ of 2025!
We're screening Mullholland Drive, our tribute to the late, great (and firm Festival favourite) director David Lynch.
Imbued with all the trademark Lynchian twists and tropes, it’s a haunting, surreal, noiresque journey through Los Angeles that oscillates between dreamscape and nightmare.
22nd May 2025 - A Multiverse Must-See
We're screening the Oscar-winning multiverse sensation Everything Everywhere All At Once in partnership with 6 O'clock Gin. Each ticket includes a complimentary drink on arrival. This is a must-see if you've not managed to catch it yet (and well worth a re-watch if you have!).
22nd May 2025 - A Vintage Screening that will have you on the edge of your seat
The acclaimed director Sidney Lumet would have turned 100 this year, and in honour of this milestone we’re presenting a screening of his directorial debut, the magnificent 12 Angry Men. This taut, gripping and poignant legal drama is one of the greatest ensemble character studies ever committed to film. We’ll be pairing it with wines that have a special twist on the setting and the jury members…
23rd May 2025 - Dun-dun-dun, dun-dun-dun, dun-dun-dun, dun-dun-dun…
A must see for young and old fans alike, Doctor Who and The Daleks was the Doctor's first silver screen outing, with the legendary Peter Cushing in the titular role.
With its own unique take on the lore of the show, this is a piece of sci-fi history that is not to be missed!
23rd May 2025 - The start of a cinematic culture change…
We're travelling back a quarter of a century, to a time when superhero blockbusters hadn’t reached peak saturation, with the first X-Men film! This was the first silver screen outing for the team of mutant superheroes, and introduced the world to Patrick Stewart’s Professor X, Ian McKellen’s Magneto, Halle Berry’s Storm - oh, and some singer/actor called Hugh Jackman as Wolverine…
23rd May 2025 - A Vintage Screening that hits all the right notes…
Turn up the hi-fi for a 25th anniversary screening of High Fidelity, the romantic comedy-drama based on Nick Hornby’s beloved novel. John Cusack leads a cast full of excellent cameos and a story full of great music, with a breakout turn from Jack Black straddling both. For the first time at a Vintage Screening, we’ll be pairing it with some wines inspired by music…!
28th May 2025 - A loveable robot makes a comeback…
Due to demand, we’re presenting another screening of the perennial Festival favourite WALL•E. This delightful sci-fi misadventure is both an epic voyage into humanity’s future, and a nod to silent comedy cinema. It’s perfect for a date night, or for the entire family.
28th May 2025 - A sweet treat for a Vintage Screening
As we move into the end of Spring, set your sights on sunnier times ahead with Chocolat, the delicious story of a woman who opens a chocolate shop at the start of Lent in a pious French village. Much of the filming took place around Burgundy and Bordeaux, so we’ll be pairing the film with wines from these two distinguished regions.
29th May 2025 - Life is a cabaret…
Join us for a very special collaboration with our friends at The Theatre Cabaret, a live evening celebrating the finest professional theatre talent from across the South West.
The evening is dedicated to the magic of film musicals, featuring a mix of iconic songs from beloved movie musicals, as well as reimagined versions and exclusive premieres of brand-new writing. Grab a drink, settle in at your table, and enjoy an evening of live musical theatre from some of the region’s most talented performers!
