Vintage Screenings On Tour - 2025

This year, our beloved Vintage Screenings—normally hosted in Averys Wine Merchants' historic cellar—are going on tour to Screen 2 in The Mall Gardens, bringing their signature format outdoors for the first time. Each screening pairs a classic film with a thematically matched guided wine tasting, led by Averys’ expert team.

Guests are welcomed with a sparkling wine reception, followed by a screening with four handpicked wines introduced at intervals throughout the film. It’s cinema with real taste.

🎞️ Screenings Line-Up

We’re kicking things off with the screwball classic Some Like It Hot, paired with a selection of American wines inspired by the film’s jazzy 1920s vibe. But that’s just the beginning — here’s what else is showing across the weekend:

  • Bottle Shock – Explore the true story of the 1976 wine tasting that put California on the map.

  • A Room With A View – Romantic, sun-drenched Florence comes to life with a floral wine pairing.

  • Snatch – A sharp, stylish British classic, paired with bold flavours from Lyme Bay Winery.

  • Clue – Murder, mystery, and a hint of Merlot in this cult whodunnit.

  • Knives Out – A modern detective tale with a sharp script and a full-bodied wine selection to match.

Each film features the same Vintage Screening format—sparkling welcome, guided tastings, and top-tier films in a setting like no other.
