“It’s a scrumptious and dizzy-spirited lark, a what-the-hell-let’s-rob-the-casino flick made with so much wit and brains and dazzle and virtuosity that the sheer speed and cleverness of the caper hits you like a shot of pure oxygen”
DOORS: 18:45 | FILM STARTS 19:00
Vintage Screenings pair classic films with thematically linked wine tastings to create unique evenings in the stunning setting of Averys Wine Merchants’ historic wine cellar. Following a sparkling wine reception, the film will be accompanied by a tasting of four carefully selected wines courtesy of Averys’ resident experts, guiding you through them during the film.
If you’re a fan of comic crime capers, then you’re in luck this September - we’re screening Ocean’s Eleven for its 25th anniversary! Steven Soderbergh’s effortlessly slick remake sees George Clooney head an all-star cast as the gang attempts to pull off an audacious, high-stake Vegas casino heist. We’ll be pairing it with a flight of wines that use multiple grape varieties in the blend, proving that just like Danny Ocean’s crew of lovable rogues, sometimes the best results in wine come from mixing some big characters together for a singular purpose…!
Take your evening further with our add-on options:
Enjoy a pre-screening ‘Introduction To Wine Tasting’ session as you learn more about wine tasting over extra glasses of white and red
Indulge with a delicious L'Affinage Du Fromage deli box, with cheeses, chutney and crackers to enjoy alongside your film and wine
Please note that Vintage Screenings are strictly for over-18s only

In order to pull off the crime of the century, though, Danny and Rusty will need to assemble a crew capable of the seemingly impossible.
