Taking place in the beautiful Mall Gardens in the heart of Clifton Village, this is outdoor cinema with a twist. Usually held in Averys Wine Merchants’ historic wine cellar, this July our Vintage Screenings are going on tour, to Screen 2 in The Mall Gardens. Following a sparkling wine on arrival, the film will be accompanied by a themed tasting of four carefully selected wines.

Back for the first time in years at the Festival in time for its 20th anniversary is the Oscar-winning tragicomedy Little Miss Sunshine. This film – which is one of the Festival team’s favourites of the century so far! – follows the misadventures of the dysfunctional Hoover family, so we’re pairing it with wines inspired by some of the personalities of the main characters. Buckle up tight for tears, tantrums and plenty of laughter.

• GETTING HERE

  • The Mall Gardens is located in the centre of Clifton Village, just off The Mall. 

  • The main entrance to the venue is on West Mall (what.3.words ///woke.bucket.loves)

  • Buses 8 & 9 both stop in Clifton Village, a short walk from the venue. The nearest train station is Clifton Down, which a 20-25 minute walk from the venue.

  • There are numerous bicycle racks in Clifton Village and the area is within the WESTscoot e-scooter operating zone.

  • Parking in Clifton Village is limited and subject to restrictions.

  • Wherever possible, we encourage walking or the use of public transport when travelling to our events.

• ACCESSIBILITY

  • The Mall Gardens Clifton has level access via the West Mall entrance. . 

  • Whilst the site is flat, some areas may be uneven, or have grass or matting underfoot.

  • If you require a designated wheelchair space please let us know in advance.

  • If you are attending an event as a registered carer for a disabled guest, please bring appropriate proof of eligibility such as proof of blue badge, access card, cinema for all card, letter from a professional or evidence of DLA/PIP. If you are uncertain, please contact us.

  • A wheelchair-accessible toilet will be available at the event.
