“A magnificent entertainment. It is like the flowering of all the possibilities in the original classic film [...] This is one of the great modern epics, and one of the year’s best films”

BRISTOL FILM FESTIVAL x EVERYMAN: EPICS @ EVERYMAN
Back for 2025, we’re excited to announce the return of “Epics @ Everyman”, our partnership with Everyman Bristol. We’ll be screening classic films from across the decades, particularly those with longer run times, that you can enjoy from the comfort of Everyman’s sofa seats.
Our final selection for 2025 is a 20th anniversary screening of Peter Jackson’s take on King Kong - and few films this century quite fit the “epic” bill as aptly as this! Full of thrills, spills, a giddy blend of practical and digital SFX, and a surprising amount of heart behind the misadventure and mayhem, it’s done on a king-sized scale [surely “Kong-sized”? - Ed.] that only Jackson can pull off, and is a perfect serving of escapism to lose yourself in this holiday season!
Your ticket includes a complimentary drink, collected as you enter the cinema (alcoholic and non-alcoholic options available).
PLEASE NOTE: ticketing for this event is being handled via Everyman. Please use the button below to access their booking page. Unfortunately we cannot process Red Carpet Club discounts or voucher codes for this event at this time.
