“‘Home Alone’s’ traps remain masterpieces of slapstick humour [...] The real lesson here for would-be Christmas classics is that festive cheer is best counterbalanced with a healthy dose of malevolence”
— Christopher Hooton (The Independent)

DOORS: 19:00 | FILM STARTS 20:30

Join us for a truly memorable film night in the company of Concorde Alpha Foxtrot, in its magnificent home at Aerospace Bristol. Before the film, step onboard Concorde and enjoy fascinating archival footage of her maiden flight. When the film starts, take your seats beneath the wings of this iconic plane and settle back to enjoy the show!

As part of our Christmas season in 2026, we’re screening the madcap misadventure Home Alone under the wings of Concorde at Aerospace Bristol. John Hughes’ delightfully mischievous film made a household name out of Macauley Culkin, its wince-inducing booby trap sequences remain a staple of the festive film-watching tradition - and of course, the rest of the McAllister family spend a lot of time on planes and in airports! So if you’re looking for something to get you out of the house and into the Christmas spirit, join us a film night flight of fancy (just don’t forget any family members en route…)!

About The Film

1990 | PG | 104 mins

When the McAllister family oversleep on the morning of their trip to Paris, there is a mad rush to make the flight - in the chaos, they leave behind their youngest son Kevin. At first, Kevin revels in the freedom of having the house to himself, but the sinister presence of the notorious Wet Bandits leaves Kevin defending his home against the crooks with whatever means necessary…

Contains moderate slapstick violence and infrequent strong language

About The Location

Aerospace Bristol is a museum and heritage centre run by Bristol Aero Collection Trust, and its exhibitions cover over 100 years of aviation, as well exploring how a small, pioneering company manufactured some of the earliest aeroplanes at Filton, evolved over the decades to influence the course of aviation history, and shaped the world we see today.

Concorde Foxtrot Alpha was the last of its kind to be built and the last to fly; it ended its journey in Bristol and is now displayed in a custom-built hangar at Aerospace Bristol. Explore onboard then watch aviation-themed films beneath the wings of this iconic plane.
