“This is incredibly fresh and arresting film-making: moving and amusing, swooningly romantic and socially ferocious [...] The final scene would leave only a stone unmoved”

Bristol Film Festival is delighted to be partnering with Aldwick Estate, which will provide the perfect setting for a special summer event.
Where better to enjoy a sparkling English wine reception with live music than on the vineyard where the grapes are grown?
During the reception you will have an opportunity to visit displays from local companies before taking your seat for a screening of the Merchant-Ivory classic A Room With a View.
This timeless, quintessentially English film, with much of its story unfolding in idyllic English gardens, is a perfect pairing for the venue.
During the screening there will be three wines to sample from the Estate, this will include tasting notes, history behind the wine and behind-the-scenes story of the film.
After the film, enjoy a delicious two course supper accompanied by a glass of wine from the vineyard.
With a VIP option which includes a tour of the vineyard before the main event, and the opportunity to buy wine at a promotional price, it is a great way to welcome in the summer.
