Success For Local Shorts

Two short films previously screened at Bristol Film Festival’s Short Film Showcase are continuing to find success on the festival circuit.

Rob Ayling’s Listen To Me, which was screened at the festival in March 2016, has recently been selected by Macoproject Online Shorts Festival, and was selected as one of Shooting People’s ‘Film Of The Month’ winners earlier this year. Dealing with themes of abuse and domestic violence, it is a powerful and arresting film. (@ListenToMeFilm)

I Should Have Run, Gaby Staniszewska’s horror film based around a woman walking home alone at night, has also recently been selected as a semi-finalist for the Women In Horror Film Festival¬†. Despite its simple premise,¬†I Should Have Run also deals with themes of grief and depression, and was a firm favourite amongst audiences at our 2017 Showcase.

Congratulations to both films; we can’t wait to see what the future holds for these two talented filmmakers!
