We’re delighted to present a one-of-a-kind Vintage Screening at Averys on 1st October - one of the very few times that you can drink the wine of one of the film's stars, it's a unique evening celebrating the global appeal of wine and a true story stranger than fiction...

Blind Ambition is the incredible true story of four Zimbabwean refugees in South Africa who became top sommeliers and took on the World Blind Wine Tasting Championships as the first ever Team Zimbabwe in the competition’s history… Not only will you be tasting four delicious South African wines alongside this uplifting and heartwarming documentary, but one of them is produced by the film’s very own Joseph Dhafana, so you’ll be enjoying a truly authentic taste of the wine from the film!

As far as we're aware, this is the first time the film has been publicly screened in this country since its limited cinema release back in 2021, and the screener copy has been specially prepared for us, so catch it while you can - we hope you can join us for one of our most special Vintage Screenings to date.
