The Wizard of Oz

1939 | U | 113 mins

When Dorothy and her dog Toto are caught up in a tornado in their home state of Kansas, they are transported to the magical land of Oz. On the instructions of Glinda the good witch, Dorothy puts on a magical pair of ruby slippers and follows the Yellow Brick Road to Emerald City, where the mysterious ‘Wizard of Oz’ will help her get back home. Along the way she meets a Scarecrow that needs a brain, a Tin Man searching for a heart, and a Cowardly Lion desperate to find some courage. On their way to see the wizard, they are pursued by the evil Wicked Witch of the West, who is determined to steal the slippers from Dorothy.
