The mysterious Count Orlock summons Thomas Hutter to his remote castle in the Transylvanian mountains. During his stay, he becomes increasingly suspicious of the Count’s unusual behaviour, and draws the conclusion that his host is the feared vampire Nosferatu. After his fears are confirmed, Hutter struggles to escape the castle whilst Orlok heads to Hutter’s home town, endangering the lives of the townspeople and Hutter’s beloved wife, Ellen.
