Join Bristol Film Festival for an evening of classic comedy, delicious local beer, and killer rabbits, at the latest Beyond Popcorn screening of Monty Python And The Holy Grail, in partnership with Wickwar Wessex Brewing.
The screening takes place in the atmospheric setting of the former fire station on Silver Street, where guests will enjoy a flight of four of Wickwar’s flagship ales (and some bar snacks) to drink along with the movie. The Wickwar team will be onsite as well, with the brewers talking you through the beers they’ve crafted. It’s an opportunity to experience this hilarious cult favourite on the big screen once more, with quality beer to accompany it – and if you’re very lucky, you might even learn how sheep’s bladders may be employed to prevent earthquakes…
Ticket price includes four half-pints of Wickwar ales – Sundowner, B.O.B, Falling Star and Cotswold Way. Please note that this event is strictly for over-18s only. Bristol Film Festival reserves the right to refuse entry to anybody who cannot produce valid ID if requested.

THEY SAY: “The material is superb, Neil Innes’ music is tremendous and Gilliam’s animations are timelessly brilliant.“ – Peter Bradshaw (The Guardian, 2015)
WE SAY: Like most of Monty Python’s work, Holy Grail is unique, surreal, and hilarious. It’s spawned an enormously successful musical, but the original film is still one of the Pythons’ career pinnacles. Don’t be surprised if you find yourself “quoting along” to every line…
