We’re returning to Bristol Museum & Art Gallery this Spring for an evening of historical thrills and spills. Enter the museum after hours, enjoy live performers – including our very own velociraptor – and explore a selection of the Museum’s incredible exhibitions, including the ever-popular Egypt Gallery.
We are delighted to present Jurassic Park, Spielberg’s epic dinosaur blockbuster, back on the big screen beneath the frame of Bristol Museum’s very own dinosaur.
Palaeontologists Alan Grant and Ellie Satler are invited for an exclusive tour of a revolutionary new theme park. There, scientists have managed to extract DNA from prehistoric amber, and literally brought the ancient past back to life. Although the group are reassured by the eccentric owner that the park is safe, when a mishap sets the ferocious predators loose on the island they find themselves struggling to avoid extinction.

THEY SAY: “A miracle of modern moviemaking […] Cliché or no, there’s no getting round it – quite simply one of the greatest blockbusters of all time.” – Caroline Westbrook, Empire, 1993
WE SAY: Possibly the best blockbuster from the director who arguably invented the blockbuster! The franchise lives on, but so does the nostalgia – there’s no beating the original, which is stunning even to this day.
