Bristol City of Film

Bristol was designated as a UNESCO City of Film in October 2017 – but what exactly does this mean? Join us as we examine what makes Bristol stand out as a leading city in the field of film and moving image, with a panel of talented individuals from across the industry.

The panel includes:

  • Natalie Moore, Senior Film Officer at Bristol Film Office and Bristol UNESCO City Of Film
  • Gary Thompson, creative curator and Filmmaker/Graphic designer. The Founder of a bi-monthly film night called Cables & Cameras at the Cube Microplex for B.A.M.E filmmakers 2018. Has also co-programmed with Encounters Film Festival with The Bristol Sound on Screen in 2016.
